 Located in the Tropoja District of Northern Albania
 A wild, high mountainous region
 Never conquered or subdued by the various waves of
invaders
 One of a handful centers of a burgeoning ecotourism
industry

We will take the minibus that leaves Tirana at 5 AM

During the journey we’ll stop several times to:
  Have a coffee or cigarette
  Have a meal

Than we’ll stop at the Koman landing

9.  After crossing the Koman lake we’ll get into the bus
and drive to Bajram Curri

Valbona:
 We’ll take the minibus that leaves at 2:30
 During the journey we’ll stop several times at:

1. A great walk and challenging because of it’s length.
 you follow the car’s road to Cerem
 turn east to follow the little access road to the
mobile phone antennas
 near the antennas turn north and you will arrive at
the Stans.

their sheep
3. From Cerem you can take the car’s road back down
to Valbona Valley

 Evening is a particulary beautiful time to watch the
little trout come out and play

 visit the cave of Bajram Curri which has an historic
importance for our country.
History After helping throw the Ottomans out of
Northern Albania, Bajram Curri turned his attention
to fixing the recent splitting off of Kosovo (1919),
which put him foul of King Zog.
Throughout the winter of 1925, Bajram Curri was
hidden by various families in the highlands.
