resume addressing the position requirements.
I am a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with five years of experience within the
U.S Navy. While in the Navy my duties included shipboard security, hazardous material
disposal, damage control and aviation fuel maintenance. I also have eight years of experience in
the behavioral health field. While working in the behavioral health I have provided in-home
family support, community support and individual case management. My expertise includes
conflict resolution, problem solving, and crisis management and communication skills.
Currently I am working as a Human Service Specialist with the Arizona Department of Veteran
Services. I am part of the fiduciary division, where I am responsible for maintaining the
financial, medical and legal needs of each Veteran. In this position I also utilize my problem
solving skill through community outreach to find resources to support each Veteran in meeting
their basic needs.
