1. Letter of Recommendation
While it is often the case that the Korean youths, who suffer from
excessive competition for entrance to prestigious universities, are very well
versed in theories and facts, it is quite hard to find those who possess a broad
world view and a sense of civic responsibility.
Due to the nature of my work, which involves educating the youth
worldwide and providing international relief efforts, I have encountered and
collaborated with numerous middle and high school students, as well as students
from prestigious universities. Over the last 20 years, many students asked me
for letters of reference, but I politely refused, mainly because I could not find
someone that I could support without reservation. Most of them diligently
carried out their projects, and their skills and credentials were second to none.
However, I unfortunately could not find in many of them a genuine love for
others, humanitarian altruism, or passion.
In that aspect, I am more than happy to be supporting Ji woong, Jang
When I look at Ji Woong, who is passionate about children’s rights and
education and he willingly devotes much time and effort into the projects aimed
at helping the needy.
