 Physical Health
 Mental/Emotional Spirit
 Relationship/Social
 Learning/Growth
 Natural Environment
Initial Objectives
 At the beginning of class my goals were to help with making
resources available to the communities.
 I wanted to network with people from providence so that I can build
that relationship and hopefully learn about the organization more.
 Also I wanted to gain experience on how the hospital works with the
community and what the hospital can provide for community.
Community Resource Organizer
 Made Sure resources were up
to date
 added new amenities
(Ex:sports fields & Parks)
 Added resources and services
(ex:Hot Lunches, clothing,
shelter, and groceries)
What I Learned
 There are many resources for people
 Behind the scene hospital workers are very valuable to
projects
 Have to be adaptive in the hospital atmosphere
 My perception of that cities in the north end are high income is
completely wrong
Closing thoughts
 Working in the health care atmosphere, there are may ways to
help low-income communities
 The fieldwork was not what I expected but I’m glad that I
experience it
