SEATTLE OCT.15 – Local police arrested native superhero Phoenix Jones Sunday
morning for alleging pepper spraying a group of people outside a nightclub.
The self-proclaimed superhero Phoenix Jones whose real name is Benjamin John Francis
Fodor, 23 arrived in court wearing a charcoaled mask and superhero uniform under a black and
yellow striped shirt.
Foder explained to the police he tried to break up a fight when he was attacked. He spent
nearly seven hours in jail before posting bail for $3,800.
A court officer asked Jones to remove the mask and he compiled revealing his true
identity. After the hearing Jones put his mask back on as he spoke with reporters.
Jones continues to fight evil doers according to reports in Seattle Times Foder said, “I
will continue to patrol with my team, probably tonight. In addition to being Phoenix Jones, I am
also Ben Fodor, father and brother. I am just like everybody else. The only difference is that I
try to stop crime in my neighborhood and everywhere else."
Jones told reports he the leader of a superhero team called the Rain City Superhero
Movement, which has conducted late night patrols in Seattle since last year.
