President Obama says the United
States intervention in Libya (Leh-BEE-ah) is
to prevent the killings of civilians by leader
Moammar (MOO-mar) Gadhafi's (GAH-tha
fi) forces.
The president said the military have
successful stopped the deadly advances with
support from allied forces.
The president said NATO will take
command of the entire Libya operation
against the regime tomorrow.

America should not interfere but
others believe differently.
She says America should do its part
to save the lives of innocent people.
The president said some nations may
be blinded to atrocities in other countries but
United States is not.
