WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC?
Chiropractic comes from the Greek words,
“cheiros” for “hand” and “pracktos” for “done by”,
meaning done by the hand.
Chiropractic care addresses the body’s nervous
system, which is responsible for the
transmission of nerve impulses which go to and
from the brain. When the nerve impulses flow
freely, allowing the brain to communicate with
your body, your body can then function properly.
Our lifestyles cause physical, mental or chemical
stress on our bodies causing subluxations,
which are misalignment(s) of the spine that
interferes with the nerve signals from the brain.
Only one type of doctor is qualified to correct
subluxations thereby restoring function, allowing
your body to self-regulate, adapt and heal, and
that doctor is a Chiropractic Doctor.

What type of education do
Chiropractic Doctors receive?

Chiropractic Doctors are licensed in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia,
and in many nations around the world. They go under rigorous education in the
healing sciences, similar to that of medical doctors. In some cases, such as
anatomy, physiology, rehabilitation, nutrition and public health, they receive MORE
intensive education than their MD counterparts. The chiropractic course of study is
approved by an accrediting agency, which is fully recognized by the U.S.
Department of Education. This extensive education prepares the doctors to
diagnose and treat AN ARRAY of health care problems. Like other health
practitioners, chiropractors follow a standard routine to secure the information
needed for diagnosis and treatment like taking patients medical history, conducting
physical, neurological, and orthopedic examinations, as well as many other
laboratory tests. X-rays and other diagnostic images are important tools because of
the emphasis on the spine and its proper function. They also employ postural and
spinal analysis unique to the chiropractic diagnosis. Chiropractors also specialize in
counseling patients about nutrition, exercise and stress management.

Meet Dr. Craig Stefanczyk
Dr. Craig Stefanczyk grew up in suburban
Milwaukee and graduated from Whitefish
Bay high school in 1982. He obtained his
undergraduate degree from Westminster
College in Fulton, Missouri and went on to
obtain a Bachelor of Science degree and
Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the
National University of Health and
Sciences in Illinois.
Doctor Stefanczyk opened his office in
Sheboygan Falls in October of 1990 and
moved into the current facility in 2002.
He, along with his wife, Joni, and four
children have lived in Kohler since 1991.
Dr. Stefanczyk is an avid fisherman and
also enjoys basketball and woodworking.

Meet Dr. Amy Hietala
Dr. Amy Hietala is a Chiropractor from
Sheboygan Falls with a strong interest in
healing the body naturally. She is a 1996
graduate of Northwestern College of
Chiropractic. She holds a B.S. in Human
Biology and a Doctorate Degree in
Chiropractic. Dr. Hietala is a Diplomate in
American Clinical Board of Nutrition,
providing extensive consulting in nutrition.
She enjoys treating patients of all ages,
from birth to 90. She takes a special
interest in improving a family’s health
through chiropractic, exercise and
nutrition.
Techniques used are specific for the
patient and include: Diversified,
Thompson Drop, Activator and Applied
Kinesiology.

Meet Michael Nauschultz
Massage Therapy
Michael Nauschultz is a nationally Certified
Massage Therapist specializing in Integrative
Neuromuscular Therapy and Sports Massage.
He is also skilled in Relaxation massage,
Lymphatic massage and Reflexology. Michael
graduated from Blue Sky Educational
Foundation of Grafton, WI in 2001.
A Naval Reservist, Michael lives in Sheboygan
with his wife and three cats. His interests
include traveling, photography and volleyball.

With a fresh drop of blood from your finger, nutritional live blood cell
analysis acts as a screening for various conditions of your blood.
Together, you and Joleen will simultaneously view your blood while
Joleen can indicate what your blood cells are revealing about your
nutritional status.
The presence of yeast, fungus, parasites, bacteria, damaged cells,
cholesterol crystals, and uric acid crystals are easily identified. The size
and shape of the red blood cells indicate nutritional deficiencies, digestive
problems, absorption problems, and the damaging effects of free radicals.
Organ malfunction is also evident in live blood cell analysis.
