It is my pleasure to recommend Jennie Harris as a candidate for a position within your organization. Jennie
joined Toastmasters International in April 2011 as a Junior Writer. Because of her strengths as a writer and
copy editor, she was promoted to Associate Editor in 2014. Jennie did an excellent job in this position and
was an asset to Toastmasters throughout her time with us.
As Associate Editor, Jennie was responsible for writing, editing and researching content for the monthly
Toastmaster magazine, which is distributed to more than 330,000 members around the world. It is widely
read among our members, and it is the most publicly representative vehicle to promote our organization;
because of this, our standards for well-written, compelling content are high, and Jennie consistently met
that challenge.
She also contributed writing and editing support for a variety of projects targeting our internal and external
audiences. Her work is outstanding; she’s creative and has a keen eye for detail.
During her time here, Jennie was reliable and flexible; she was always willing to pitch in and offer assistance,
and is as comfortable working on a team as she is being an independent contributor. Jennie is a joy to work
with; she cares deeply about doing her best and often looks for opportunities to grow and learn.
Jennie would be an asset to any employer and I recommend her for any endeavor she chooses to pursue.
