2. KEY STAFF RESUMES AND STAFF COMMITMENTS
Proposed Key Staff and Commitments
The success of the John Anson Ford Theatres Master Plan
will be based in part on the creativity, commitment and or-
ganizational skills of the core team leading the project. As
such, Pfeiffer Partners proposes its most experienced team
members who have worked together for years in the pro-
gramming, planning and design of performing arts facili-
ties. The team will be led by Jean Marie Gath, LEED AP as
Project Director/Master Planner; William Murray, AIA as The-
ater Architect; Stephanie Kingsnorth, AIA, LEED AP as Historic
Architect; and Jordan Levin, AIA, CDT as Project Manager.
Resumes for Pfeiffer Partners’ key staff members and sub-
consultants follow at the end of this section.
JEAN MARIE GATH, LEED AP
PROJECT DIRECTOR / MASTER PLANNER
Jean Marie Gath has over 25 years of planning experience
and directs the firm’s programming and cultural planning
efforts of the firm. As Project Director/Master Planner, Jean
Marie Gath will have overall responsibility for the project,
ensuring that Pfeiffer Partners’ full attention and resources
are dedicated to the John Anson Ford Theatres Master Plan
throughout its duration. She will serve as the day-to-day
point of contact, coordinating the overall efforts of the team
and holding responsibility for the preparation of all docu-
ments. One of her primary responsibilities will be to serve
as the voice for the planning process, leading all workshops,
meetings and work sessions. Jean will lead the master plan-
ning process, working closely with the Master Plan Commit-
tee, Ford Theatre Project Manager, Arts Commission and
Ford Theatre Foundation and other stakeholders to identify
renovation/re-utilization/expansion of the existing facilities
and determine phased future development.
Jean’s current and projected project commitments over the
next 12 to 18 months include the following. It is anticipated
that she will spend about 40% of her time on the John An-
son Ford Theatres project throughout its duration.

WILLIAM MURRAY, AIA
THEATER ARCHITECT
William Murray has over 20 years of experience in plan-
ning and designing facilities for the arts and leads the firm’s
performing arts practice. He lectures nationally and inter-
nationally through his role as Vice Chair of the U.S. Institute
of Theatre Technology. He has worked closely with Jean for
over 18 years on performing arts planning and design proj-
ects across the country. As Theater Architect, Bill will oversee

the design and technical developments of the John Anson
Ford Theatres Master Plan, developing all theatrical spaces,
working closely with the theater, acoustics and audio visual
consultants.
Bill’s current and projected project commitments over the

STEPHANIE KINGSNORTH, AIA, LEED AP
HISTORIC ARCHITECT
Stephanie Kingsnorth has over 15 years of experience and
leads the firm’s work in historic preservation and restora-
tion, bringing to the project her experience on Griffith Ob-
servatory, Caltech South Houses, Stanford University His-
toric Quad Projects, Beverly Hills Cultural Center; and her
current work on the restoration of the City of Atascadero’s
City Hall and City of Riverside’s Municipal Auditorium. As
Historic Architect, Stephanie will coordinate all preserva-
tion efforts of the team, identifying and preserving historic
elements of the theater and surrounding facilities, while
maintaining their historic integrity. She will identify city and
historic commission approvals and issues related to any
possible improvements to existing facilities.

JORDAN LEVIN, AIA, CDT
PROJECT MANAGER
As Associate of the firm, Jordan Levin’s diverse project man-
agement experience with cultural, civic and educational
planning and design projects provides him with the knowl-
edge and ability to work on all phases of a project. In his
role as Project Manager, Jordan will interface regularly with
the entire team, coordinating with Jean, Bill and Stephanie
to develop technical documents for the project. Working
closely with Jean, Jordan will coordinate the efforts of the
consultants, ensuring their input is obtained at key points
throughout the process. He will also work closely with Bill on
the planning of theatrical spaces and will be responsible for
all required site, program and design documentation.
Jordan’s current and projected project commitments over
the next 12 to 18 months include the following. It is antici-
pated that he will spend about 80% of his time on the John
Anson Ford Theatres project throughout its duration.

Based in Burbank, Manask & Associates is a leading con-
cession and gift shop/retail consultant of cultural institu-
tions, established in 1992. The firm assists clients with
operational and financial evaluations for their restaurants,
food services and facility rentals. Manask & Associates pro-
vides services in programming and planning; evaluation
of operations planning and methodology; facility rentals,
catering and events; operator selection process; market
research; guest satisfaction; and benchmarking industry
standards and practices. The firm has worked on over 130
cultural planning and design projects and has significant
experience with facility upgrades, expansions, remodeling

McKay Conant Hoover (MCH) was organized in 1987 to
provide uniquely integrated consulting services in all areas
of building acoustics and media systems. With offices in
Westlake Village and Scottsdale, AZ, MCH’s concentration
is in facilities for large public assembly. The corporation’s
acoustical services include room acoustics design, sound
isolation design and detailing, equipment noise and vibra-

Qualifications
Jean Marie Gath is a Principal with Pfeiffer Partners, directing the firm’s programming, cultural planning, urban design,
and educational efforts. Her particular focus over the past 25 years has been in the planning and design of cultural fa-
cilities. Her project experience includes performing arts centers, academic arts facilities, museums, and cultural districts.
Ms. Gath is also a skilled facilitator and consensus builder—working with communities, arts organizations, educational
institutions, and private clients to develop projects that are both visionary, yet fiscally responsible and can be readily imple-
mented. She recently authored a chapter on “Campus Cultural Facilities” for the book Building Type Basics for College and
University Facilities, published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc., which focuses on the planning, design, and technical criteria for
both visual and performing arts spaces.

KEY STAFF RESUMES AND STAFF COMMITMENTS Proposed Key Staff and Commitments The success of the John Anson Ford Theatres Master Plan will be based in part on the creativity, commitment and or- ganizational skills of the core team leading the project. As such, Pfeiffer Partners proposes its most experienced team members who have worked together for years in the pro- gramming, planning and design of performing arts facili- ties. The team will be led by Jean Marie Gath, LEED AP as Project Director/Master Planner; William Murray, AIA as The- ater Architect; Stephanie Kingsnorth, AIA, LEED AP as Historic Architect; and Jordan Levin, AIA, CDT as Project Manager. Resumes for Pfeiffer Partners’ key staff members and sub- consultants follow at the end of this section. JEAN MARIE GATH, LEED AP PROJECT DIRECTOR / MASTER PLANNER Jean Marie Gath has over 25 years of planning experience and directs the firm’s programming and cultural planning efforts of the firm. As Project Director/Master Planner, Jean Marie Gath will have overall responsibility for the project, ensuring that Pfeiffer Partners’ full attention and resources are dedicated to the John Anson Ford Theatres Master Plan throughout its duration. She will serve as the day-to-day point of contact, coordinating the overall efforts of the team and holding responsibility for the preparation of all docu- ments. One of her primary responsibilities will be to serve as the voice for the planning process, leading all workshops, meetings and work sessions. Jean will lead the master plan- ning process, working closely with the Master Plan Commit- tee, Ford Theatre Project Manager, Arts Commission and Ford Theatre Foundation and other stakeholders to identify renovation/re-utilization/expansion of the existing facilities and determine phased future development. Jean’s current and projected project commitments over the next 12 to 18 months include the following. It is anticipated that she will spend about 40% of her time on the John An- son Ford Theatres project throughout its duration. • UCLA Northwest Campus Housing Infill - Under Construction • City of Riverside Public Library - Programming/Concepts • SUNY Potsdam Performing Arts Center and Technology Building - Schematic Design • Brooklyn College Master Plan - Planning WILLIAM MURRAY, AIA THEATER ARCHITECT William Murray has over 20 years of experience in plan- ning and designing facilities for the arts and leads the firm’s performing arts practice. He lectures nationally and inter- nationally through his role as Vice Chair of the U.S. Institute of Theatre Technology. He has worked closely with Jean for over 18 years on performing arts planning and design proj- ects across the country. As Theater Architect, Bill will oversee Project WorkshopTeam Meeting

Lemieux Library and McGoldrick Learning Commons - Under Construction • Performing Arts Center Eastside (PACE) - Construction Documents • Brooklyn College Tow Performing Arts Center Expansion - Construction Documents • SUNY Potsdam Performing Arts Center and Technology Building - Schematic Design STEPHANIE KINGSNORTH, AIA, LEED AP HISTORIC ARCHITECT Stephanie Kingsnorth has over 15 years of experience and leads the firm’s work in historic preservation and restora- tion, bringing to the project her experience on Griffith Ob- servatory, Caltech South Houses, Stanford University His- toric Quad Projects, Beverly Hills Cultural Center; and her current work on the restoration of the City of Atascadero’s City Hall and City of Riverside’s Municipal Auditorium. As Historic Architect, Stephanie will coordinate all preserva- tion efforts of the team, identifying and preserving historic elements of the theater and surrounding facilities, while maintaining their historic integrity. She will identify city and historic commission approvals and issues related to any possible improvements to existing facilities. Stephanie’s current and projected project commitments over the next 12 to 18 months include the following. It is anticipated that she will spend about 25% of her time on the John Anson Ford Theatres project throughout its duration. • City of Atascadero City Hall Rehabilitation, Atascadero, CA - Under Construction • City of Riverside Municipal Auditorium Historic Renovation - Feasibility Study • CSU-San Bernardino Pfau Library Renovation and Addition - Feasibility Study JORDAN LEVIN, AIA, CDT PROJECT MANAGER As Associate of the firm, Jordan Levin’s diverse project man- agement experience with cultural, civic and educational planning and design projects provides him with the knowl- edge and ability to work on all phases of a project. In his role as Project Manager, Jordan will interface regularly with the entire team, coordinating with Jean, Bill and Stephanie to develop technical documents for the project. Working closely with Jean, Jordan will coordinate the efforts of the consultants, ensuring their input is obtained at key points throughout the process. He will also work closely with Bill on the planning of theatrical spaces and will be responsible for all required site, program and design documentation. Jordan’s current and projected project commitments over the next 12 to 18 months include the following.
