• “ The goal of Informative listeners is to make sure that he is receiving the same
idea or thought the other person is trying to convey. “
this type of listening is known as Informative listening.
3. ATTENTIVE LISTENING
Attentive listening is a way of listening and responding to another
person that improves mutual understanding.
Attentive listening is a structured form of listening and responding that
focuses the attention on the speaker.
4. ATTENTION SKILLS
Attention skills are necessary for us to be able to take information from
our senses (like seeing & hearing) and transfer it into our brain for use in
thinking , learning , problem solving and memory .
5. RELATIONSHIP SKILLS
It is the most important type in listening to develop a relationship skills.
It is most helpful if the listeners are likes and trust on speaker.
“ Attitude,Supporting,Empathzing” this is the 3 factors are key
to effective relationship listening.
6. APPRECIATIVE LISTENING
When we are listening to good music or poetry at that time we are use
appreciative listening.
Mostly used in social situations.
7. CRITICAL LISTENING
Critical listening is listening in order to evaluate and judge , forming
opinion about what is being said.
Comprehend and understand sender‘s massage.

8. DISCRIMINATIVE LISTENING
It is the most basic type of listening .
We learn to discriminate between sounds within our own language easy,
and later are unable to discriminate between phonemes of other langu-
age.
