Ref : 3740
There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced project manager to make a
difference and be part of something bigger.
Enfield Council has a growing reputation for leading the way on sustainability,
carbon reduction and energy management. Enfield 2020 is Enfield’s ambitious
programme to improve the sustainability of the Council and Borough by 2020.
The Enfield 2020 Action Plan already contains over 50 large-scale sustainability
projects, with over £1 billion being invested by the Council, the Greater London
Authority, developers and other partners to improve the sustainability of Enfield.
With a track record of developing projects from scratch, you have the opportunity to
lead development of large-scale renewable energy projects for Enfield 2020.
You will also lead the Council’s Energy Management Team, which is already effective
and delivers excellent customer service. With a focus on saving money by saving
energy, there is an opportunity to take the team to the next level.
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual, with an ability to think
outside the box, engage stakeholders and deliver on the ground. You need strategic
and operational energy management experience, and an ability to manage change.
In return we can offer a competitive salary and a two year full-time contract. Fitting
in with the team’s self-funding business model, beyond the two years, the post
holder will need to cover their ongoing salary costs using revenue generated from
the new energy projects.
