Sergeant with the Salt River Tribal Police Department who on a daily basis goes “above and beyond”in providing service to the
Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, and continuously exceeds the performance standards for his position of Police
Sergeant. Sergeant Ferrell willingly accepts new assignments and offers to help wherever he can. Law Enforcement is a frenetic
environment that presents many competing demands on the men and woman who choose this career path. Sergeant Ferrell
remains steadfast in his positiveattitude, cheerfulness, calmness, and dependability. Sergeant Ferrell is an extraordinary
employee and was a vital member of theSalt River Tribal Police Department. Sergeant Ferrell has demonstrated excellent people
and decision making skills. He is attentiveto tasks and works tirelessly to achieve the goals of the department. Sergeant Ferrell is
an extremely positiveand dependable employee, and performs his duties in an extremely timely and conscientious manner.
I’ve received many compliments from Sergeant Ferrell’s fellow employees; who rely on him for direction and the helping hand.
Sergeant Ferrell is well liked by thecitizens of the community and frequently volunteers with kids in thecommunity. Since 2007
Sergeant Ferrell has been actively involved with the shop with a COP program. Sergeant Ferrell is an innovative self-starter, who
rarely needs supervision. He is punctualand typically exceeds expectations.
