PCMʹs Flexible, Extendible & Portable (FEP) Conveyors
Loading and unloading ‐ the two major activities in any logistics operation have
always remained a challenge for the management, especially when huge quantities of
materials are to be loaded into or unloaded from large trucks, goods‐wagons, cargo
ships or cargo air‐crafts within a specified time limit before moving them to their
destination expeditiously.
The answer to this problem lies in finding a suitable MHE that could not only ease
the hardships involved in such operations but also reduce manpower utilization and
time consumption as well.
Such an MHE is the FEP Conveyor (Flexible, Extendible and Portable Conveyor)
from PCM, which helps in high speed loading and unloading of freights in harbour
docks, railway/highway stations, airports, warehouses, mines etc.

Salient Features of our FEP Conveyors:
1. It can be moved at will to the place where
goods must be loaded and unloaded, with ease of
operation.
2. In order to reach a high bodied vehicle interior,
the inclinable belt conveyor section can be
changed from 0° to 28°angle. Its maximum
loading height is 1.3m.
3. It can be started or stopped and moved forward
or reversed while in operation so as to directly
convey goods to the storehouse or freight wagon.
4. The anterior flexible and extendible electric‐
powered conveyor can be used to convey goods
very close to the loading or unloading location.
5. Its stretchable and adjustable nature provides
comfortable and quicker movement of materials
up from 10 to 40 mts/min
6. It consists of both belt conveyor and extendible
conveyor, which can be combined or separated
according to the operational need
7. Its store‐house friendly collapsible nature
doesnʹt demand huge storage space when not in
use.
