Acute care and management of common orthopedic injuries, such as ankle and knee sprains,
rotator cuff injury, overuse syndromes and a variety of back pain issues. Minor procedures to
include suturing wounds, biopsies, mole and lesion removals. Diagnosis and treatment of acute
as well as chronic illnesses. Physical exams including well child, sports physicals, ROTC
physicals, adult male and well woman exams. Provide specialty consults as well as manage
illness and injury. Write and submit Medical Board paperwork for soldiers who were injured in
the line of duty and have received maximum benefit from specialty clinics. Managing soldier
care while working with the soldier’s units to resolve and / or determine deployability status
Average 19 patients per day. Consult precepting physician when necessary.

Returned to Madigan Family Medicine after realizing my calling to serve the military
population of active duty, retirees and their family members in an environment which provides
the opportunity to cultivate long lasting patient provider relationships. Position included
diagnosing and treatment of patients ranging in age from 2 weeks to 90 plus years. Diagnosis,
treatment and management of acute and chronic illness to include a panel of over 100 diabetic
patients. Managed and monitored orthopedic injuries and consulting to Physical Therapists,
Occupational Therapists and Orthopedic Specialists for more complex issues. Performed minor
surgical procedures such as mole and lipoma removal as well as laceration repairs and skin
biopsies. Physical exams to include well child, sports physicals, ROTC physicals, adult male
and well woman exams. Average 18 – 24 patients per day. Consulted precepting physician as
well as attending physicians when necessary.
August 2005 – January 2006 Pacific Primary Care
Sequim, WA
Provided medical care for the residents of Sequim and surrounding areas of the Olympic
Peninsula. Population of patients ranged in ages from toddlers to geriatrics. Managed multiple
medical problems and performed minor surgery to excise skin lesions and repair lacerations.
Majority of the patients had multiple medical concerns including diabetes, hypertension,

include well child, adult well woman and male exams. Average 25 – 32 patients per day.
