In order to start to use PSS Software to match the required devices and rules, Rule Setting must
be done properly.
Rule Setting is where you setup basic rules and operational options for scoring.
Once the settings configured here are applied, you must restart the software to change any
settings losing all connections with Hardware such as Receiver, Refereeās Scoring Box and
Protectors.

After Court No. is selected, you can change the Channel manually.
Change the channel only when there are continuous device disconnection problem.
To change the channel, you must re-start the program and register all devices again!

The FIRST THING you need to do to operate KPNP PSS software is to connect the Receiver and
set the channel. Change the number of court and press āSETā button on the right. Then, the Court
No. will change Green if the Receiver is properly connected.
If error occurs, follow this steps:
ā Close the program.
ā” Remove the Receiver USB Cable and re-connect to the PC.
ā¢ Run Software again and try āSetā the receiver again.
If the receiver is properly connected, the Court No. changes to GREEN.

mode simulating real competition environment.

Sometimes, operator need to turn the time back to certain Minutes and Seconds.
You can modify Game Time manually.

END OF THE GAME.

6. Entering Golden Point Round
If the 3rd Round Match finishes tie, the system automatically alerts if you want to enter into
āGolden Point Round (4th Round)ā.
Press āYesā, and the Rest Time begins and prepare for Golden Point Round.
ā» CAUTION
Even though the 3rd Round finishes by tie, the final result may not be tie in several cases:
- Referee gives Gamjeom to a player when the round was finished.
- A player protest with Video Replay and accepted to get more point.
In those cases, operator must change the final result at the command of the Center Referee
and finish the game without entering into Golden Point. The opposite situation might
happen. So, it is critical to wait until the CENTER REFEREE DECLARES THE FINAL RESULT.

7. Golden Point Round Display
In Golden Point Round, KPNP Scoring System displays assistive information for Referees and
Operators. Also, the game automatically STOPs if one of the condition below is met:

ā” A player gets 1 point by opponentās Gamjoem and scores point in ā
ā¢ A player gets 2 points by consecutive Gamjeom of the opponent

Game finishes automatically when conditions are met.
However, the Operator must finish the game by pressing C.Win (Blue wins) or H.Win (Red wins)
button to declare Winner.
Next, operator must press āENDā button to initialize the system.

button is pressed, you can choose Win Type.

If any of the errors occur, the system stops and displays

This happens when you try to start the game when there are
unregistered device.

2. Other Problems
1. Score Board Screen on the Extended Display returns to the main Screen.
This happens when thereās problem with Display cable connection due to
ā Physical disconnection of RGB/HDMI cable (unplugged, or cut my mistake)
ā” Temporary RGB/HDMI caused by RGB/HDMI port
ā¢ Permanently broken RGB/HDMI cable
For all cases above, you must close and restart the program to restore the Display Setting.
Then, all PSS devices must be connected again.
Before you restart the program, you must WRITE DOWN the current Time, Scores and number of
Gamjeom on the paper to resume the game.
For restoration of time, please refer to the Page 48, using Start Option.
If you cannot find [X] button to close the program, press Alt+F4 on keyboard to close the program.
