2. Need for the Project
In our community, flooding always happen
not only because of heavy rain but also because
of the trashes scattered around. People don’t
have control. They just throw everywhere and
anywhere. This trashes sometimes cause
accident. We need to stop this to save lives
especially during natural calamities.

3. Goal
My goal is to teach people of my community
how to dispose trashes properly. So that when
there is heavy rains there will be less flooding.

4. Project Activity
In order to achieve my goal, I am planning
to coordinate with the Barangay officials,
community groups and some of my neighbors. I
also plan to undertake this by conducting a
seminar about waste segregation and by doing
information campaign through the use of
posters and tarpaulins.

5. Step by Step Planning
I prepared a seminar and campaigning
materials. With the help of our barangay officials
and neighbors, I accomplish my project last
October 25.

6. Results
After my project, my neighbors already have
the knowledge about segregating. Our
community is now far from flooding. We can
now enjoy playing outside because there are no
longer hazards because of the trashes scattered
everywhere.
