1) Hubert was born in 1987 as the first grandchild on both sides of his family. He had a close connection with his grandmothers and was a sweet son to his parents. 2) Hubert pursued his studies in architecture and had a steady group of friends. He began his first project with his family and continued traveling the world with his girlfriend Dan. 3) Dan and Hubert recently got married. The letter wishes them happiness in their future together and hopes they will pass on warmth and tenderness to their children.

Dear Dan and Hubert,
致Dan和Hubert,
Hubert, you were born as the first grandchild on both sides on the 8th of October 1987. On the one
hand your grandparents became white as sheets when they heard they would be grandparents and
on the other hand they came around quickly with much care. So emotions were assured.
Hubert，你出生于1987年10月8日，为两边的第一个孙子。 一则/一边，当你的祖父祖母听说他

As oldest grandchild you kept the warm connection that you have with your two grandmothers. For
hours you can enjoy yourself with them. The casseroles were always empty after you visited.

You were a sweet son to your parents, which you still are, that loaded us with a lot of questions. For
your sisters, you are the big brother that likes to dance to their tune, but with your diplomacy you
manage to stay the conductor.

Like the Lego: you refused to follow the included plans, but followed your own creativity. The first
step to your profession?

We did a lot together: cycling, walking with the dogs and helping in the garden. These made for some
very beautiful anecdotes, the sea, your Dax, the train in the attic, our trips through the mountains
and so on. Hubert, we had, and still have, a lot of fun together.

rooster, rabbits, turtle and goat. And now you have Mushishi.

Your studies went very rapidly, we compared it to a low flying fighter plane. Narrowly over the
ground and trying not to crash. The first trimester was good; the second trimester had some holes in
it that were filled up in the third trimester. In your final year at KSO, you showed to your teachers all
that you can do.

party would never be missed. The fun couldn't be broken, but your leg could.

Becoming an architect was never a question, but a real goal that you already wanted to reach when
you were 16 years old. A place where your creativity had free reign and also where the exciting world
of art and design could find you.

目标。它是一个你的创意可以完全被点燃的地方，还有可以给你找到艺术和设计的兴奋的世界。
The first project with your family has been started. Also something to be proud of. Now all you need
is that big grey curly head to achieve that real architect-look.

Hubert, do you remember? Your first girlfriend that came and took all of your free time away. You
didn't understand it and asked me why she acted like that. I answered: You will understand it later.
Hubert,你还记得吗？你的第一个女朋友来时把你所有的空余时间带走。你不了解并问我为什么
她要这样。我便回答说：以后你会明白的。
And that later came when you did your final year of Architecture in Japan through an exchange
program. Then your hart became interested and you did understand. You two became inseparable.
You traveled around the world: Japan, China, Belgium, and Australia. Both with your own purpose,
but always together.
过后通过交换学生计划，你最后一年的架构课程在日本进修。而你清楚明白你对hart有浓厚的
兴趣。你们俩成了形影不离。你走遍世界各地：日本，中国，比利时和澳大利亚。你俩有自己
的目的，但始终在一起。
Dear Dan,
致Dan，
We are happy to welcome you as a daughter and wife to Hubert in our family. I have come to know
you as a warm and tender person. Your warm welcome when we came to Japan to visit Hubert, is still
fresh in my memory.

For you it has been a turbulent year. We are very sorry that your father wasn't able to be there at the

3. He has known you as a couple and he went fishing with Hubert in Australia during their visit.
