Florida's homeless coalitions estimated that in 2005 there were around 83,391 homeless persons on any given day in the state. Statistics from three counties in Florida showed an increase of nearly 15,000 homeless people. Families and households with minor children were estimated to make up over 40% of Florida's total homeless population. A social action group called Bulls Market collected donated clothes from individuals and held an event to deliver the clothes to a local homeless shelter.

 Bulls Market: collected emails of potential donators, collecting their
contact information by clipboard and online registration. From
there, an event was held outside the library to collect the clothes
from out donators. The clothes were then taken to the Local
homeless shelter.
