Leadership Philosophy
Being a Freshman in college, I have learned many values about education and
myself. Personal values that I have developed and gained have been honesty, respect,
and commitment to my studies. These personal values have gotten me far in life and
have made me into the person I am today. Work is something that comes third in my
life, it is extremely important to me and I will not sleep until the job is done.
Responsibilities get done in the order that makes most sense to me, I like to plan out
everything and then start doing the tasks. Expectations of me are going to be the same
expectations that I have of you, I will give my all and get my work done in a timely
fashion and very efficient. If you do your job, I will do mine one better. A
non-negotiables that I stand by is hard work, this should always be a given, if you are
paid to do a job you should be doing as well and as quick as you physically can. A few
things I can not tolerate are being dishonest and making up excuses for your own
mistakes. The main priorities I have in life is, family, friends, personal happiness, work,
and money. All these are in order of the most important to me, I put money last on the
list because I would much rather love what I do and make decent money, rather than
hate my job and make good money. I don’t have many personal Idiosyncrasies, but a
couple would be, showing up late for work and leaving early, unless told to do so. My
personal code of ethics is one that encompasses integrity, communication, respect,
loyalty, kindness, communication and identity. A leader knows what is right and uses it
to do the right thing regardless of personal risk.
