I am eager to leverage my 20+ years of software testing experience with a new opportunity in a dynamic
testing environment. I believe that my strong, technical background, along with my extensive leadership
experience in community organizations, will match respectively with this position.
Professional Experience
SAS Institute Principal Software QA Engineer

Job Duties:
Test back end of the Customer Intelligence application utilizing AWS.
Manage all areas of software quality for the Merchandise Allocation product, which is developed
using Agile methodologies.
Manage testing duties of two offshore teams in India; responsibilities include reviewing daily
status reports, managing assignments, troubleshooting issues, and providing necessary functional
area training.
Maintain all test environments across the platform.
Create test artifacts for the various functional areas and manage results in SMARTS.
Interface with the cross-functional team to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues and
defects, review test cases, and provide feedback on product documentation.
Run defect triages and follow through on fixed defects to resolution.
Wrote a series of automation tests using the jython framework, which simulated importing a
definition to the allocation system and dynamically retrieved the definition ID so it could function
and test various areas including opening the worksheet and sending a pack request. The data was
verified based on expected results using SQL queries.
