legal counsel to the NT Dene Nation, the office of the Languages Commissioner of

Mr. Posynick successfully completed a Masters’ Degree in Conflict Analysis and
Management. Prior to attending Royal Roads University, he obtained in-service training
with the Attorney General’s Department (Alberta) and from the Continuing Legal
Education Society of Alberta, in Alternative Dispute Resolution. He also has significant
experience in the fields of human rights, commercial, labour, personal injury and family
law mediation.
As Public Administrator:
During Mr. Posynick’s career in court administration (1969-1972; 1976-1988), he gained
experience as a statutory appointee and administrator of a variety of justice programs and
services involving court registries (provincial, superior and Federal courts), sheriff'’s
operations and federal/territorial regulatory services (e.g. Bankruptcy and Bank Act
registries).
