To make 2015 the best Games yet for competitors, volunteers and spectators by;
Facilitating travel and hotel arrangements for visitors
Providing a competitive sporting programme in excellent facilities
Creating a meaningful legacy for local sports people and volunteers
Engaging with the local community as broadly as possible

Around 6,000 people expected to attend the Opening and Closing ceremonies
Around 2,000 people expected to visit the Games Village daily, during Games Week
Live entertainment plus cultural events and school involvement on stage
Ability to engage public in sporting and leisure activities to try their hand at
Park open 6 – 10pm each evening for accredited guests only each evening of Games Week
