Editor's Notes
I am doing this project at Rim of the World High School because it is an important part of our community as young people spend most of their time there. The area where I am doing my project is very unapealing to students and staff that walk by, I wanted to beautify the school by making this area a nice place where students can socialize, eat, study, think, and learn.
Native Plant Species - Drought resistant plants that grow well in the climate and altitude at RIM High(incense cedar, Pink bracted manzanita, mexican manzanita, chaparral whitethorn, california buckwheat, mountain pink currant, mountain sage, dorr's sage, eaton firecracker, grinnell's, beardtongue, deergrass, california fuchsia, monkey flowers, yarrow)
Ground Cover - I will use dirt, soil, and rocks that can be found here on the mountain so it better fits with the theme of the rest of the garden
Irrigation - I will use dirt, soil, and rocks that can be found here on the mountain so it better fits with the theme of the rest of the garden
