In this presentation , i collected data about the definitions and examples about the main two differentiated pollution sources and their cooperation in the contamination of the planet.
The natural pollution and the anthropogenic pollution

2. Pollution is the introduction
of contaminants into the
natural environment that
cause adverse change.
3. Pollution can take the
form of chemical
substances or energy
forms (Physical).
4. Pollutants can be natural,
such as volcanic ash. They
can also be created by
human activity, such as
trash or runoff produced
by factories.
Pollutants damage the
quality of air, water, and
land.
5. Major forms of pollution include:
Air pollution, light pollution, littering, noise pollution, plastic pollution, soil contamination, radioactive
contamination, thermal pollution, visual pollution, water pollution and etc.
6. All living things from one-
celled microbes to blue whales
depend on Earth’s supply of air and water
and soil.
When these resources are polluted,
all forms of life are threatened.
7. Anthropogenic pollution
(human-made) :
is caused due to
human activities.
(Burning of fossil
fuels, deforestation,
mining, sewage,
industrial effluent,
pesticides, fertilizers, etc.)
8. Anthropogenic pollution has
always accompanied civilizations
, it started from prehistoric
times, when man
created the first fires.
According to a 1983 article in
the journal Science, "soot" found
on ceilings of prehistoric
caves provides ample
evidence of the high levels
of pollution that was associated
with inadequate
ventilation of open fires."
9. Metal forging appears
to be a key turning
point in the creation of
significant air pollution
levels outside
the home.
11. Human activities can influence nature
, generally on an environment, the change
can be overwhelming giving the ravaging
effects of present-day climate.
Among the major threats of environmental
problems that disrupt the
natural equilibrium is the reckless
discharge of pollutants generated from
industrial activities.
12. The reason why environmental issues
have become such an encircling hazard
for the world boils down
to people's unawareness of the
environmental issues and their
irresponsible and cruel attitude towards
nature for their own selfish gains.

15. Natural pollution
A natural pollutant is a pollutant
created by substances of
natural origin such as
volcanic dust,
sea salt particles, photochemically
formed ozone, and products
of forest fibres , among others.
16.
17. Volcanic eruptions and forest,
swamp and grass fires launch soot
and ash
into the atmosphere, which reduces
sunlight and lowers temperatures.
Eruptions and fires also produce
carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide
and other polluting gases.
18. Ozone
A chemical formed naturally by
the action of sunlight on oxygen,
is a pollutant at ground level but
beneficial in the upper
atmosphere and as a gaseous
therapeutic in some treatments
in alternative medicine.
Ozone shields the Earth from
harmful ultraviolet rays from the
sun, but it damages plants and
causes breathing problems in the
lower atmosphere.
19. Natural catastrophes can cause immense
floods, storms, earthquakes, droughts , forest fires
and volcanic eruptions which can also
contribute in some types of pollutions
or even be initiated by their occurance.
20. Ways in which disasters worsen air pollution:
- Disasters facilitate release of hazardous material.
- Increased release of accumulated pollutants fromvolcaniceruptions and wildfires.
- A breeding ground for airborne microbes and mold.
- Increased droughts promote sandstorms.
- Radon is a radioactive gas that seeps from the ground in some areas.
21. Not all natural catastrophes are the work of fate
some are man-made.
However, the distinction is not always straightforward
, particularly in the case of floods, landslidesor
wildfires.
22. Despite that the pollutants usually get filtered gradually by the main 3 components of the
environment which are air , water and soil , the exaggeration of the pollution above the
natural limits creates a large damage which can create a cyclical events
of different pollutive incidents which are started by the initial pollution cause.
Sometimes the natural and the anthropogenic factors can have a combined process of
spreading the pollution such as man-made hazards contaminating other regions and soils with
the help of sandstorms and floods , or the human-mining releasing nature's dangerous underground
gases to the surface of the earth and etc.
23. However, the distinction between natural and
man-made catastrophes is not always as
clear cut as one might think. Some events are
wrongly assumed to be natural catastrophes.
Either ways we as consciouscreatures must
be looking forward and to assist in
the preservation of our environment in order
to continue thriving and living in a natural
and clean world with the human-
ecology cooperation and for the survival
of life.
