Artist Name: Asafum
Section 1: Executive Summary (Write this last – Write at least 2-3 paragraphs
outlining who this artist is, why they have potential to make a mark in the music industry,
and how you plan to execute this vision)
Asafum is a unique lyricist who conveys his message with southern swag. My
artist has the wordplay and lyricism of the greats all while having the flows and cadences
of the newer generation. I don’t really see nobody who currently in the industry bringing
it like Asafum.
The reason I feel Asafum is bound to leave his mark in this industry is because he
is the bridge between generations. If I was Lil Durk, I would nickname him “The
Bridge”. Even though he’s 22 he has the tone and wordplay to attract all audiences. The
younger generation would love his flows, beats, and cadences, all the while, the older
generation would fall in loe with the stories he tells through his music.

I want to show hip-hop fans from all generations that lyricist are not dead we just
got a new swagger about us.

team, please list 3-5 short term goals that need to be executed in order get the artist to
their future stage and 2 sentences explaining your method of achieving those goals)
• Finish recording debut project to release in next 3 months
• Get local radio play in the next 5 months
• Get 1000 subs on Youtube Channel in 1 month

3-5 long term goals that need to be executed in order get the artist to their future stage
and 2 sentences explaining your method of achieving those goals)
• Get at least 20k streams for each single
• Get at least 2000 fans to join email list
• Try to make 5000 dollars in profit for this year

music industry executives in the genre the artist in in. Determine how they break new

100-200 word write up about your findings and how they relate to the artist)
When it comes to breaking artists it’s a couple things labels look for. It isn’t necessarily
numbers, but they do need to see a buzz or growing fanbase. They most definitely look at
the social media to see if you’re getting engagement to see if the fanbase is real or if
you’re one of those guys who buy your followers on social media. They also are going to
check out your YouTube and Spotify. YouTube for views and a lot engagement cause
lots of people comment under videos there to talk to their favorite artist. They check
Spotify for plays, monthly listeners and weekly streams to see how big the fanbase is.
