3. Overview
• The existing Find a advisor page is hidden from root page navigation.
• Users can only access the search landing page from a referrer such as Google.
• On the landing page, and subsequent search results pages, there is a link in the main
navigation tray, that says “Find a Advisor”. Again, the only time users can avail themselves
of this search function is when they are already on the “Find a Advisor” page.
• There are two main search categories: advisor last name/team name, and location.
• When a user searches by last name, while still on the landing page, a results list will drop
down from the search field. This forces the user to select a result before being shown the
actual results.
• The search results page directs users to search again, there is no existing filter reset option.
• There is a drop-down feature that allows users to select how many results are displayed on
the page, from 10 – 50 results. Users are forced to continuously scroll to display every
advisors profile snapshot.

2. Filters are hidden until the user clicks on the filter label. The filter drops down and they
can select the option and click submit.

page, they’re already searching for an advisor, and the link is not present in the nav on any
other page.

above the profiles.
3. Pages are navigated by scrolling
left and right. In the event the
user is on page 2, then left side
of the screen would have a
corresponding arrow.
4. Advisor name and quick overview are displayed in card format. The name and a quick link to
“contact me” are displayed. The contact button would lead to a quick contact form similar to the
one on the next slide.
5. The card format allows for expansion and collapse. The user is able to click anywhere on the card
to expand and collapse that profile.

allows users to quickly complete a ”contact us” form, or be directed to other existing pages on the
site.

the map, confirming the search radius.
2. A link allows users to “search again”, wherein
they are directed back to the search landing

different about this card design is that the

1. The “search again” feature is present at the top of the page. This will take the user directly back
to the search landing page.
2. The number of results will also display at the top of the page.
3. The option to refine results will reset the current selected filters.
4. The first search result will default to be automatically open. If the user wants to close this profile
they can click the exit link at the top, or simply click on the next profile tab.
5. Each advisor that is selected will be highlighted to differentiate between other tabs. The advisor’s
name and title will be present on each tab.

1. Advisor information is clearly displayed, and the extra room on each snapshot allows for better
positioning of their credentials.
2. Contact options are available, and allow the user to elect to share that advisor profile.
3. Users are told what page is currently being displayed, and can navigate to the next page via the
link and arrow.
