About Jacques Scherman
A bit of background
For as long as I can remember I have been interested in property
investment. As a child I remember my Dad saying to me: “You don’t
work for your money. You make your money work for YOU.” That
wisdom has determined the way I have sought to live my life.
We came to Australia from South Africa a few years ago looking for a
country where our family of seven could live, love and leave a legacy.
Moving here meant disposing of our assets in South Africa and
beginning a new life here in Australia, a difficult decision to make but
one we have never regreted.
What’s your property investing experience?
My experience from being a soldier in the military to being a CEO of a
Property Group in South Africa, has made me realise that the biggest
obstacle to investment is FEAR. Many people make unwise investment
decisions mainly because of an inadequate understanding of the
market. More often they fail to invest for fear of making a mistake and
as a result fail to build their wealth.
I am happy to say that I can help you make well informed decisions
which will make your money work for you – creating long term wealth.
I was a Licensed Real Estate Agent in South Africa working in the
Commercial, Industrial & Residential Markets and also personally
buying, selling and renovating property.
Why do you love what you do?
I absolutely love what I do, not only because I love the work but because
it enables the life I want to lead for myself and my family while helping
others to secure their futures.
I love people. I believe in building solid, trusting relationships.
