Providing the right light in high ceiling areas such as warehouses and produc- tion halls is a challenge. The light source has to be intense enough to reach the required Lux level on the workspace. This usually means that high power con- suming luminaries such as double batten fittings with 2x58w T8 or 2x45w T5-ECO fluorescent tubes are used. Maintenance costs on these systems are extremely high due to the short lifetime and high lumen depreciation of the lamps.
