delivering a happy Christmas to four families with 13 family members, with over $4,000
raised! This was a tough economy in which to be soliciting donations but their efforts and
passion paid off. Other volunteer leaders included Carrie Coronado, Jonathan Randolph, Keke
Flanagan, Nick LeCrone, Josh Dunaway and Karla Johnson. There were many other volunteers who
gave their personal time to benefit these families, even during a very busy season at work and home.
I would also like to recognize Tammy McClintock for her boundless energy and passion for the Star-
fish Alliance projects. She guides and mentors the project leaders, and oversees every project to be
sure no detail is left undone. Her enthusiasm is contagious and the volunteers look up to her. The
Starfish Alliance counts on her to keep the Starfish mission alive. A big thank you goes out to every-
one who helped make this year’s project possible!

Please see the following message sent by Steve Haas to Annette Carnell regarding SLG’s
relationship with the Radford warehouse.
“I would like to thank you for all of your support in helping us here at Radford’s become a
better service provider to Satellite. I really think we have made huge strides in communica-
tion between all parties involved. It is truly a pleasure to work with such a great group of
professionals on a daily basis. I also wanted you to know my personal thoughts here,
along with others, we feel very fortunate to be working with Christina Salazar. Every time
we have a request or a need, Christina follows through quickly and accurately. I’m sure
with continued support and communication we will become even better at what we do,
providing service to Satellite Logistics Group.”

Helping Hands
For the 7th consecutive year, Satellite Logistics Group participated in the Yoplait “Save Lids
to Save Lives” campaign. This year SLG collected 79 lids, which is 25% more than last year.
Yoplait has pledged to donate $0.10 for each lid collected with a maximum donation of
$1.5 million. Yoplait has guaranteed a minimum donation of at least $500,000. Thank you
to everyone who participated and for making this year’s drive such a great success.
