1. AHEM
Helping the younger generation be more responsible and parents to
parent in a smartphone world
2. AHEM IS
• An application that is designed to prevent the ‘younger generation’ from
not responding to parent’s calls or text messages.
• No more excuses like:
• ‘I didn’t get the message/phone call’ when they did
• ‘I did not have service’
• ‘My battery was dead’
• While all of these things are likely they are not as prevalent as the younger
generation portrays them.
3. AHEM IS NOT
• Big Brother (or Sister)
• A way of enabling ‘hover moms’ to extend this behavior to the digital world.
• (there are other apps for that ;-))
4. OVERALL THIS PROJECT WAS
• Good from the simplicity of the
overall structure and data the
app requires
• Unfortunately how do you design
an app that the smartphone user
does not use but must be
constently running?
Hmmmmmm
• Oh and Confuses say that when
Eclipse is in transition patience
and cleverness must applied to
achieve programming
‘enlightenment’.
5. IN THE BEGINNING….
• This actually is an extension of
an idea that was developed
as part of the HUI class.
• Remember I am not a
programmer by nature so my
approach was a little different
