This document defines non-communicable diseases as diseases that are not passed from person to person and are non-infectious, some of which can be hereditary. It then provides brief descriptions of several religious festivals celebrated in the Philippines, including the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon known for kiping rice wafers; the Obando Fertility Rite in Obando, Bulacan honoring three saints; and the Moriones Festival where masks replicate Roman soldier attire.
