PERSONAL STATEMENT
A professional, hard working and outgoing employee who offers exceptional customer service,
energy and commitment. I am a clear and effective communicator who works well as part of a
team and thrive in a busy, ever-changing work environment. I have extensive experience in the
provision of the highest quality service to both customers and clients proven throughout my time
at the Tyneside Cinema in roles as Front of House Assistant, Box Office Supervisor and Interim
Hires and Events Assistant. Film, moving image and the arts are of the highest importance to me
and I cultivate an active interest in these whilst also being a tireless proponent of arts, culture
and education as demonstrated throughout my career and volunteering roles for different arts
organisations and events.

In all my roles at the Tyneside I was responsible for ensuring the highest cinematic experience
for all customers and clients by maintaining a friendly, well presented and welcoming
environment throughout the Box Office, Bars, Auditoria, Private Hires, and all public areas. As a
Box Office Supervisor and Hires and Events Assistant I became much more involved in the
management of the Cinema, accounts, record keeping, timetabling and staff training. Some of
the core responsibilities shared by all these positions include;
· A current working knowledge of programmes, events, procedures and regulations;
· Willingness and ability to respond to all customer queries in an informative and courteous
manner;
· Maintenance of a high level of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation across all areas of the
venue (both public and non-public) in accordance with company policy and standards;
· Ensuring all customer data is up-to-date and recorded accurately, consistently and in line
with both company policies and the Data Protection Act;
· Assistance with promotions, marketing campaigns and memberships.
