In Istria, for centuries fought for supremacy Histris, Illyrians, Celts,
Greeks, Romans, Ostrogoths, Longobardi, Franks, Germans, Slavs,
Italians ...
It was first mentioned Grožnjan 1102th as Castrum Grisiniana. Forts
and the city were managed by various masters, while the
surrounding villages inhabited by Slavs.
Venice was ruled in the 1358th until its collapse, 1797th. After a
plague epidemic 1630th government settled craftsmen from Veneto
