Ranthambore National Park is located in Sawai Madhopur District of Rajasthan state in India. It contains a variety of wildlife like tigers, sloth bears, as well as over 300 species of plants and resident and migratory bird species. Some areas within the park that are highlighted include the Bakaula region which has thick forest cover, Kachida Valley and Surwal Lake which have good bird populations, and Lakarda and Anantpura which are ideal places to see sloth bears. Vehicle safaris within the park allow visitors to view the wildlife.
