Introduction
TULI eServices Inventory management software is a computer-based system for tracking inventory levels,
orders, sales and deliveries. It can also be used in the manufacturing industry to create a work order, bill of
materials and other production-related documents. Companies use inventory management software to avoid
product overstock and outages. It is a tool for organizing inventory data that before was generally stored in hard-
copy form or in spreadsheets. It is often associated with and is similar to distribution software, as distributors that
can compete with less cash tied up in inventories have a distinct advantage over their competitors.
Tech specification
This has been done on Magento – one of the most talked OpenSource platform in present day. Magento is build on
Zend Framework which is known for scalability, robustness and security.
We decided to use PHP as the language to code the system. It is compatible with other software and hardware and
is very easy to integrate in any platform. Since PHP is an Open Source Environment; there are large numbers of
helps are available to accumulated if needed. Ajax has been used to get a faster response. MVC (Model View
Controller) architecture with PHP, MySQL and APACHE trio makes the system most authentic and robust in nature.
Though we have used MySQL as database; the system can easily interact with ORACLE based database too. The
provision is there.

User specification
This is a web based application hosted through cloud server and cloud technology. Hence there is apparently no
restriction of any user base. The system could support as many users as needed by the organization. The system
could be authenticated by significant level of authenticity assigned to any individual user. Option to integrate mobile
interface is available.
