Using the latter, and data obtained from the Mayo Clinic, we estimate the market size for medical surveys is .1% of the total healthcare market ($2.8T) or $3.5B. Very conservative from our view, because we assumed that each hospital has 1 unit that conducts surveys, when in fact some could have 4 or 5! A large neurosurgical department will spend $1 million per year in order to collect pre/post operative surveys on 11,000 patients ($91 per patient)
