He deals with Project Management in fields like energy,
co-generation and biomass. He has been working on
these issues both at national level (Toscana, Marche,
Veneto) and at international (Slovene, Austria, USA). As
Vice-President of ISIS International Strategic Information
Services - Consulting Co. he was engaged in searching
and identifying the new business opportunities raising
from the liberalization of the Electricity Market in Italy. In
this context he supplied the Italian liaison and local
support to one of the bidding contenders (Marubeni and
NRG Energy) for one of the ENEL Gen Co's on the
market. Earlier, he was ENEL Vice- President of the
International Department and, previously, the ENEL
representative in the USA. He has a good grasp of
technical issues related to power plants and of fuel
procurement issues. His activity was characterized by
experience in management and planning in large Italian
companies and in foreign head offices, where the most
traditional energy issues are crossing the most
innovative ones.
After having been working for 25+ years in the ICT,
since 2003 he’s been more and more engaged with
Energy industry, and since 2010 -when he co-founded
Ianus - his professional life is entirely devoted to it.
He held managerial and professional positions at Tele
Sistemi Ferroviari (Railways), Finsiel and Italsiel, where
he became familiar with the business of the diverse
Industries and Public Administrations interlacing with
ICT. In those years he was often in charge of the
direction or management of large challenging
projects like the trans-national EU network SOSENET,
the DSX/IBM, the CUP of Bologna, the public
information systems FSINFORMA, the INPDAP system
for the Italian civil servants pensions and many other.
As well as being in charge of the operating direction
of Ianus, today, he is also involved in project and
solution development, addressing the most recent
issues of micro / Smart Grid and convergence of
Energy and Information Systems.

He has been Senior Consultant at TERNA SpA and
CESI Spa for Generation and International Power
System issues in North Africa, Europe and Asia,
and at the UNCTAD for foreign investments
attraction assessment in Central America. He has
been working in ENEL for 28 years where he left in
2001 as Vice President of Enelpower for
International Project Development. He has been
engaged in planning, design and implementation
of electrical systems and has developed and led
many projects in the Utilities and Energy Planning
sectors, in Europe, Latin America, former Soviet
Union, Asia, South-East Europe and Mediterranean
Countries. He is currently the Ianus Project
Manager of IPA12CS02 Project, leaded by Terna
Spa in Turkey, and he has been the team leader
for the EU project for the modernization of the
Uzbekistan Distribution line, leaded by CESI.
He was President of the Committee for the
assessment of feasibility of a trigeneration
biomass plant (electricity generation, heat and
cold); he is Former President of AIPT (Italian
Association Termophysical Properties); he has also
been President of the Comitee of University for
Guidance, and he is also the delegate of the
Rector for the placement and SOUL project
(Guidance System University Work). He has been
consultant for the Public Administration and for
Confindustria, for initiatives in the energy field on
the local level, and he has promoted the
development of private projects in the fields of
Heating, Energy Efficiency and planning of
biomass plants, renewable energies and the
related study of environmental impact.

Graduated in Electrical Engineering, he has been
working in Enel for 40 years, where he acquired a
significant experience in International Projects
(Technical and Project Development). He has been
engaged in planning, procurement, design and
implementation of electrical systems in Italy, Europe,
South America and Mediterranean Area.He has been
“Diretor Presidente” of Enelpower do Brasil for the
construction of 2.500 km of 500 kV electrical lines
and 10 electrical stations (2004-2006); responsible
for the power plant and industrial plant in China for
the Kyoto Protocol (2006-2007); Project Manager for
Enel of Flamanville Nuclear Plant Project (1.650 MW)
in Paris (France) and responsible of the Enel
personnel of Engineering, Construction,
Commissioning and Production of the NPP (2008-
2011).
Former Manager at Formez Spa, Head of
Institutional and External Relations office. In 1986
he created the sector “Training and Technical
Supporting to new companies” in the Committee
for the Development of Young Entrepreneurship
(law 44), on behalf od the Minister for
Extraordinary Interventions. He has been expert of
Institute of Treccani Italian Encyclopaedia for the
South problems and for politics of business
creation. He was professor for several courses,
such as: Master in Business Management (SDOA);

From 2011 to 2014 she has been the Ianus
responsible for the social media management
strategy of ABIFormazione, training school of ABI -
Italian Banks Association. She is currently in charge
for the communication management services for
Terna Spa in the IPA12CS02 Project in Turkey; she is
also professor of Intercultural Communication at
LUMSA University in Rome. From 2010 to 2015 she
has been professor of Communication at ISCEM in
Lisbon and UNISINOS in Brazil, also developing
training processes and paths in the social media
marketing sector for SMEs in Rome.
She is currently based in Rome; she hold her PhD in
Communication and Organization in 2010 at LUMSA
University in Rome, graduated in Philosophy at
Sapienza University of Rome.
In 2016 he has realized a masterplan for
Morbegno city with the project “Connected
identities”; he also completed the masterplan
project for the Italian Green District Morocco, in
the Solar Breeder Competition. In 2014 he was
responsible for the Smart Hotel project in Malta,
developing architecture and energy solutions for
hospitality. His focus is the application of
sustainability and efficiency criteria on historical
buildings, suburbs and small town/villages, aiming
to develop the local identity. He also deals with
research projects on Smart energy solutions,
market analysis and new materials for restoration.
He is currently running out a Master degree in
Real Estate Finance at LUISS University in Rome,
graduated in Architecture at Roma Tre University.

He is expert in design and management of O&M
systems for Power Plants, in the project

operating electric power generating plants, and

development. Moreover, he is interested in the
area of biomass and alternative combustibles. He
has been worked directly in project development
in NUMA SRL and GSE SpA, where he has dealt
with development of interconnected power lines
with Austria and Slovene. In ENEL he was Head
of the Continuous Performance Improvement
Program.

He began his activity in ENEL in 1974 at the National
Centre for Studies and Projects. He was
representative of the DCO / Headquarters, and
Coordinator at the Electric Service for the Thermal
Plant industry. For Terna SpA has been Head of Unit
"Development network and relationship with third
party" within the function realization and systems
development, with the task of ensuring the technical
management of relations with GRTN for the
implementation of the development plan network,
management of relationships with third parties for
connections, engineering, supervision of the
authorization process at ministerial level ensuring
relations with ministries and agencies with national
competence. Since 2010 he is the coordinator for the
Terna Engineering team in the Unit Committees RTN
Function Planning Investments for the preliminary
evaluation of the solutions feasibility for connecting
new facilities to the RTN and RTN project evaluation
standards for the granting of authorizations.

She has 28 years of professional experience working for
International Institutions, National Regulatory Authorities
and energy companies. She has performed directive and
managerial tasks in particular as Head of the Geneva
Office of the IAEA and as Senior Project Manager of the
Mediterranean Project. During her professional
experience she reviewed different national legal and
regulatory frameworks for the energy sectors and she
analysed the proposals for the harmonization of national
legislation to that of the EU. She also matured excellent
experience in capacity building and assistance in drafting
of secondary legislation and reviewing primary legislation
in the field of energy. She regularly advises on the review
of existing energy legislation and its conformity to EU
directives, interacting with and assisting local institutions
at different levels. She has resided in Saudi Arabia, the
United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria
and since 2006 she is a resident of Geneva (Switzerland).
