7. 3. Participate in an on-ground assessment (OGA), the final stage of the
recruitment process. During the OGA, we will meet face-to-face and get to
learn more about each other. You will have a chance to showcase your skills
in business cases and team activities, network with other applicants, and
meet current Philip Morris International employees. If you meet the criteria,
we may invite you to be an INKOMPASS intern!

Why does INKOMPASS offer a 2-cycle approach?
INKOMPASS international internship program for students offers a 2-cycle
approach because it is an experiential job interview, giving you a better
chance to showcase your skills and abilities and giving us a better chance to
get to know you.
Across the two cycles, you will work on projects that will allow you to
discover our business challenges, opportunities, processes and systems.
The 1st cycle will give you the opportunity to discover several aspects of our
company (i.e. operations, people and culture) through projects that allow
you to interact with people from different areas.
The 2nd cycle will give you the opportunity to experience a deep dive into a
specific department or functional area.

13. What happens if I don’t want to commit myself to participate in the
2nd cycle?
We strive to ensure you have a great 1st cycle experience so that you eagerly
look forward to get selected for the 2nd cycle.
However, in case you do not want to continue, there is no obligation for you
to do so.

14. What happens between the 2 cycles of internship?
Staying in touch with you throughout your internship journey is very
important to us. You will hear from us between the 2 cycles of your
internship, through:
• Invitations to company activities and events
• Communication from your COACH and BUDDY

15. I reside outside of the country where I would like to do my
internship, can I still apply to the program?
We welcome applications from inside and outside of the country. However,
all candidates that are invited – as a result of their application and online
tests – must be able to attend the on-ground assessment day which is the
final round of the selection process. Moreover, all international travel and
logistics costs during the recruitment process and internship program will be
borne by you – unless you need to travel during the internship as part of
your project requirements. Also, we expect our interns to be physically
present in our premises during the 2 internship cycles.

16. What is the selection process like?
As a first step for this college student’s internship program, submit your
application by clicking on the “Apply Now” tab – located at the upper-right
corner of this webpage.
If your application form meets our criteria, we will send you an invitation to
complete two online tests that will assess your:

17. If you pass our online assessment you get invited to participate in an exciting
on-ground assessment day, consisting of different activities and fun exercises
that you will go through individually and as a team with other fellow
applicants.
We end with an appreciation party, a celebration of your efforts and a great
networking opportunity. Fun is a constant through this experience!
You will receive feedback along the process, letting you know whether you
made it to the next step or not.

18. If I cannot attend the on-ground assessment, are there any other
dates available?
Participating in the on-ground assessment day is a requirement for the
recruitment process. Not only that, it’s an opportunity for all the candidates
to challenge their limits and discover themselves while interacting with a
wide group of people – not only other fellow applicants but PMI employees
as well. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide additional dates to the
one set for the on-ground assessment day. We will inform you well in
advance if you are eligible for it, hoping that this will allow you to plan your
activities and join us.

19. Will I receive feedback if I don’t get selected? When?
Yes. You will be informed of your application progress during each step of the
process by your registered email. Whether or not you meet the criteria to
progress on to the next application step, you will receive an email
confirmation regarding your status. If you do not hear back from us within 2-
3 weeks of completing an application step, please contact us at

20. When will the internship start and how long will it last? Is there any
flexibility with these dates?
The first internship cycle is planned as follows:
• 1st cycle: July 1st till August 13th, 2020
• 2nd Cycle: July 15th to August 31st, 2020

21. What are the normal work hours?
Working hours are 8/10am to 5/6pm Sunday to Thursday with a one-hour
break.

22. Is the INKOMPASS internship paid? What contractual conditions will
I be under as an intern?
The selected interns will work under an internship contract and will receive
payment during the internship cycle. Further details will be provided to
them at the time of the offer.

23. Will I be assigned a group project or an individual project?
Depending on the project scope and expected deliverables, projects may
require individual or group work. In any case, you can be sure that all
projects will be meaningful, challenging, and give you the opportunity to
showcase and further develop your skills, whether it is in an individual or
group setting.

24. What type of guidance and support can I expect to receive
throughout my program, to help develop me professionally?
Every INKOMPASS intern will receive day-to-day guidance and support from
their COACH, who has the same function as a supervisor. He / she will
introduce you to your project, clarify expectations, guide you on a day-to-day
basis, and provide you with feedback.
In addition, you will also receive support from:
• Your PROJECT SPONSOR, who will ensure you have everything you need in
terms of resources and budget to execute your proposals;
• Your BUDDY, who will help you answer general questions and network
with different people and departments in the company.

25. What is the criteria for advancement to the 2nd cycle of the
program? How will I be assessed?
During the 1st cycle, you will complete a project with a definite scope and
deliverables, based on which you will be assessed. We believe that both
WHAT you achieve / deliver and HOW you do so is important. This is why you
will also be assessed on the behaviors you display which should be aligned
with our company’s work ethics.
Throughout the experience you will receive feedback and guidance so that
you understand what is expected of you. The final assessment will take place
at the end of each internship cycle.

26. Will I receive feedback regarding my performance? When?
Your COACH and PROJECT SPONSOR will provide you with feedback
throughout your INKOMPASS experience.
