4. Components
► Nozzle: a short tube with a taper or constriction used (as on a hose) to speed up
or direct a flow of fluid.
► Vaccum pipe: suction side of a pump connected to a vacuum fitting
located at the pool and below the water level to which underwater
cleaning equipment may be attached.
► Pressure regulator: A pressure regulator is a device which controls the pressure
of liquids or gases (medium) by reducing a high input pressure to a controlled
lower output pressure.
► Filter: a filter is a device or process that removes some unwanted components.
► Water tank: Stores wastage water or clean water.
► Valve: that regulates, directs or controls the flow of a fluid by opening,
closing, or partially obstructing various passageways.
6. Working principle and Constructional
details
► WORKING PRINCIPLE
These devices works on the principle of Bernoulli’s Principle, which states
that as the speed of air increases, the pressure decreases. Air will always
flow from a high-pressure area to a low-pressure area, to try to balance out
the pressure.
► CONSTRUCTION
Nozzle with filter connected to storage tank with vaccum pump also
consists of pressure regulator. This vaccum pipe is directly connected to a
container consists of two storage tanks ( Wastage and clean storage).
Valves are placed at edge of 1st tank and below of 1st tank which helps to
collect the water at outside and flows the water to filter. Water flows
through filter from storage tank 1 and filtered then it flows to clean water
storage tank.

8. Working process
► Firstly water with dirt particles are entered into vaccum pipe with the Suction of
nozzle. Nozzle which consists filter removes dirt and dust particles.
► Now this water flows to storage tank placed in a container with vaccum pipe
connected.
► This wastage water can be collected Or else filtered.
► This can be sent out with valve present at end and also sent to filter with a
valve present below.
► The water when come in contact with filter passes through it where filter
consists of 4 layers will be filtered very finely and then sends to clean water
storage tank.
► This water now is filtered and can be used again.
9. Applications
► This device can also be used to save a lot of water wastage at times of
construction of buildings and removal of underground water from base of the pillar
foundation and can seperate the mixture of water and other chemical
components and the water is use.

Removal of stagnant waters will also be helpful to reduce the population of
mosquitoes that causes lot no. Of diseases like malaria dengue… As mosquitoes
