newspapers are to show and tell people what is going

the world. It tends to be quiet long in the number of
page it has, but it is like that because it is something
that needs to try and make sure it can cover everything
that goes on day in, day out. Newspapers can contain
things such news, important or informative articles and
advertising also. Newspapers are either published
weekly or daily and they can also be published online as E-newspapers. Online newspapers
tend to more useful and efficient because they can be updated at any time and quicker than
newspapers because you don’t have to wait a whole day or week to receive the latest news.
Newspapers are used to convey the forecasts of the weather, show time lines or time
listings of television and radio programs, contain entertainment such as crosswords, advice,
and cartoons which are gag cartoons or editorial cartoons. Magazines are sold through
things such as local shops, supermarkets, newsstands or bookstores. The purpose of
magazines are very similar to newspapers but, instead of showcasing and publishing news
about things that happen around the world, they tend to focus more on the celebrities of
world and the way in the they live their lives. They tend to be funded by things such as
advertising and people purchasing the newspaper itself. Magazines are sold through things
such as local shops, supermarkets, newsstands or bookstores. Magazines can also be used
also be used online and these are known as E-magazines.

some points. A poster tends to be a large or small piece
of paper that can be pasted to a wall or flat surface. You
can find posters on shops windows, inside shops and
even on walls or places that are visited by loads of
people. Posters may include bold and bright writing on
them, whether it be serif or san serif or would have a
specific graphic design or image on them that promotes
or markets the product. For a poster to be affective, it
would need to be eye catching. For example, it would
need to colors that are bold, bright and stand out. These
type of elements would be found on the posters that
would be advertising something like a party or concert.
Whereas, if the poster was advertising a presidential
campaign, it would consist of an image of the person
running for president or prime minister and a slogan that
would advertise propaganda.

The purpose of adverts/advertisements is to promote or
make people aware of an event taking place or in some
cases, it may be used just to inform or sell something to
people. Advert are mostly paid for by people who
sponsor the advert to be published. They can be
published through mass media, such as magazines,
newspapers, radio and television and even blogs.
Adverts can be published in three ways and they are,
outdoor advertisements, television advertisements and
outdoor advertisement. Outdoor advertisements are
advertisements that are published or placed in areas
where the person advertising the poster thinks loads of
people go. This focuses on advertising products outside
the home or house of the everyday person.

Photojournalism is the same as journalism but in a
different format. For example, in photojournalism
the news or story is told through images or pictures
taken on cameras. The purpose of these images are
to give an accurate representation of an accident or
event that took place over certain period of time.
Overall, photojournalism tells a news story in images
or photographs instead of actual moving images or
videos.

Ways in which sales can be increased in video or
computer games are that, the people who create the
game allow the game to be played on a number of

awareness because there will always constant
reminders on things such as television adverts and
even pop up ads of when this game will take place
