Elevator rides do not last long, the space is small, and at times the crowd is large. To make these short rides in a confined space bearable we must all practice some elevator etiquette. We all need to do our part and practice proper elevator etiquette in order to be courteous and considerate with everyone.

GOOD ELEVATOR ETIQUETTE

2. 1. When the doors open, allow women and the elderly to enter/exit first.

3. 2. Once you have pressed the Up/Down button, wait for the elevator. Pressing the
button repeatedly will not make the elevator arrive soon.

4. 3. Allow the People who were waiting before you to enter first.

5. 4. Make sure that you press the button only for the floor that you want to get off.

6. 5. Avoid talking on the Phone while in the Elevator.

7. 6. If you are talking to another person, keep your voice down so that it does not
disturb the other people.
