HOLIDAY PAY
 Recognized Holidays:
 New Year’s Day
 Martin Luther King Jr. Day
 Memorial Day
 Independence Day
 Labor day
 Thanksgiving Day
 Christmas Day
 Partners will NOT receive
holiday pay if they incur
an unexcused absence,
UNXD early leave, or
arrived late UNXD
preceding or following
the holiday.
 EXCEPTION: Unless a
partner produces a Dr.’s
note within one week of
returning to work.
SICK PAY
 ALL sick pay entered
must have a comment –
NO EXCEPTIONS.
 Check to make sure
partner has accrued
enough sick time.
 You may use VAC in
place of sick time, but
only if the partner does
not have enough.
OVERTIME PAY
 Partners scheduled to
work 5 eight-hour shifts
will be paid overtime for
all hours worked in excess
of those 8 hours per day.
 Partners working seven
consecutive days, all hours
worked on the 7th day will
be paid at twice the
partner’s regular rate.
 **Paid time off is not
included as time worked
toward a 7th consecutive
day**
MINIMUM SHIFT PAY
 Partners asked to report
to work with less than 24
hours advance notice for
an unscheduled shift, or
is asked by Starbucks to
end their shift early
because of lack of work,
the partner will be paid
for actual time worked
but not less than 3
hours.
 Partners asked within 24
hours or more in
advance, will only be
paid the hours worked.
CALL IN REQUIREMENTS
 Partners must use the
call-out line at least 30
minutes prior to shift.
 After 30 min. prior to
shift up to 2 hours into
their shift, the partner
will receive 2
occurrences.
 After 2 hours from the
start of partner’s shift is
considered a no call/no
show, and the partner
will receive 3
occurrences.

inquire about their
partners’ occurrences by
