3. Significance
In India, students emerge from three major bifurcations that help them categorise their choices.
Science, Commerce and Arts. The reason for this bifurcation is also to focus on the pupil’s
strengths to make them well versed with the basics required for the majors they are to pursue.
But most of the choices in the country are based on the societal trends of advisory and
upbringing. Which made the highest scorer go for Sciences and the lowest for Arts. The
understanding here is, Science students can pursue whatever career they want post 12th,
while Arts and Commerce have certain limitations.

4. Why Choose These Careers Post 12th?
● As mentioned above, making a career post 12th does not
depend on what major a student has cleared the boards
from. Surely a Bachelor’s supported by other higher studies
including, PG and Master’s Degree are a part of the process.
But some careers can take off right after the Bachelor’s too.
● In this blog, there are some shortlisted careers that the
students can opt for in their respective fields. High paying
jobs are only included in this. However, they can go for
many other options in a market and if they are a skilled
enough professional, they get hired for a hefty price for
sure.

5. ARTS AND HUMANITIES
The entire spectrum of Arts and Humanities is filled with career options
that are edgy, creative and require a certain amount of skill set that only
the Arts and Humanities majors can provide. Arts and Humanities deal
with subjects of History, Law, Psychology, Fine and Liberal Arts. All of
these are in great demand nowadays given the consumer behaviours, the
dire need for marketing and the rapid emergence of newer products and
services each day.
Listed below are a few careers with an immediate salary ranging from 2 to
5 lac per annum.
1- Interior designer

6. How To Prepare for these Careers post 12th?
The genre of Arts has many branches for
specialisation and their immediate salaries
resonate with the other fields’ top-paying jobs.
The courses to pursue these fields are
Bachelor’s or Diploma, followed by a Master’s
if needed. The immediate salaries are not
affected by the higher qualification. The entire
Arts industry is portfolio centric, so if you have
a good portfolio that speaks for you, you are
sorted. Say hello to a happy, exponentially
growing career.
7. Conclusion
● Career after 12th is a blank canvas. Students
entirely have the freedom to choose and do
what they like. They can be a Science person
with an Art background or a Commerce
person in the Humanities. The key is to pick a
career and dig deep into the understanding of
the subject itself.
