5. What is Stock Market / Share Market?
• A Stock market is the place where buying and
selling of stocks(Shares ) take place. Nowadays
due to internet and advanced technology
buying and selling of stocks(Shares ) take place
anywhere of the world’s big city, there is no
need to be physical present in exchanges .

 when the total capital of company is divided
into units or small parts of equal amount and
each unit/part is called a share.
 Share is the smallest part of the total capital
of a company.
