"No tenders were invited for designing Make In India logo. In 2014-15, tenders were
invited by the ministry for appointing a creative agency. And on its basis,
Weiden+Kennedy India Limited, was chosen. And it's this company which designed
the logo for Make In India“

Addressing the nation on India's 68th Independence Day, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri
Narendra Modi urged the industry, especially the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises
(MSMEs) of India, to manufacture goods in the country with "zero defects" and to
ensure that the goods have "zero effect" on the environment.
Multi-sectoral industrial event at the MMRDA from 13 February 2016 was attended by
