Major Assignments:
Interface Integration:
1) BOM Tools & BOM Risk Tools :
Bom Tools and Bom Risk tools are internal tools written in VB Script which are used to create
hardware configurations, calculate the risk score, etc. i.e. operations on BOM Structure based
on master and variant files.
Using Windchill APIs and Apache POI, pulled the data from Windchill and passed it in the
form of excel to the BOM Tools and BOM Risk Tools.
2) Gese Editor : It is a tool to create setting files in the form of .eep file. It is passed as an
argument in Windchill.
Using Infoengine, webservice is created between Windchill and Gese Editor and .eep file is
passed as attachment.
Using Java Utility, part is created on Windchill and with the same number document is created
in Windchill as describe by document of the part created. To the document, .eep file is
attached as primary content.
3) MII Integration :
Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence is a SAP Module.
Sap part number and Plant ID are passed as parameters from MII Tool which is a Sap
Using InfoEngine Tasks, webservice was created between the MII Tool and Windchill which
searches for the part number and downloads the Describe By Document of the given part to a
shared location. It is achieved using Workflow Process and Java Utilities.
