 Project Name: PGW (PSTN Gateway)
PGW is a call agent and a CISCO product. It performs the signaling and call-control tasks (such
as digit analysis, routing, circuit selection, and more) within the Public Switched Telephone
Network (PSTN) gateway infrastructure. Taking advantage of vast Signaling System 7 (SS7)
protocol library and supporting industry-standard control protocols, including various VOIP
protocols as Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP), H.323, and Session Initiation Protocol
(SIP), the Cisco PGW 2200 provides service providers with the capability to seamlessly route
voice and data calls between the PSTN and packet networks.

A web based portal called e-ARMS test execution is used in PI-Smoke Sanity which takes test
suite selections from users and runs the test suites in the test engineers' automation environment.
EARMS is an integrated test solution that offers an integrated test framework effectively and
efficiently organize, coordinate and execute the entire test effort from one place.
