2. Setting Up
• Save document to be faxed to your desktop
or other designated file folder.
• Open your Novell Window.
• Click on the RightFax FaxUtil 9.3 icon .
• Locate the tool bar at the top left hand
corner of the window.

• Click on Fax, then New .
• Once you do that, another window will open
titled Fax Information.

• In the Name field, type the name of the
individual that the fax is addressed to.
• In the Fax Number field enter the fax
number including 9 for local numbers and
include 9 and 1 for long distance numbers.
• Be sure that under Options, the Use cover
sheet box is checked.

• Click on the Attachments tab.
• Click on the manilla folder to the right of the
Available Attachments box.
• Another window will open entitled Select
File Attachment.
• Locate the file that you want to fax on your
desktop or other designated file folder.
• Click Open.

• Once you have selected your file, you will see the
Fax Information window again.
• Locate the Selected Attachments box and click on
the document that you are faxing. It should be
highlighted in blue.
• Click Send.
• The Fax Information box will disappear and you
will see your fax details such as date/time,
to/from, fax number, pages/bytes, status, and
owner which should be your Novell logon name.
10. Refresh Button
The status field will tell you if the document was faxed successfully or not. OK means it was sent. Information
Incomplete means something is missing, like the fax number. The refresh button allows you to speed up the process
in case you want to see the status sooner.
