disciplinary performing arts center presenting national and international dance, music,
spoken word, circus, and theatre.
Producer / Production Manager and Marketing Director
Nakai Theatre, Homegrown Theatre Festival (Whitehorse YT, Feb-May 2014. Part-time
position.) The only fringe-style theatre festival in Northern Canada, featuring a
fascinating spectrum of independent theatre and performance. With up to 20 local artists
with over 100 performances in the span of five days.

Nakai Theatre, 24 Hour Playwriting Challenge and Cabaret (Whitehorse, YT Sept - Oct
2013. Part-time position.) Annual binary events which reach out to Yukoners and beyond
with an invitation to challenge ones' inner playwright to write a play in 24hrs and then
later celebrate their work and creativity at a Cabaret.

Event Producer
Luminato Festival: ‘Literary Picnic’ and ‘Future Taste of Toronto: At The Kids' Table’
(Toronto, ON May 2013 – June 2013. Full-time position.) Two separate events featured
at Canada's largest multi-arts festival held in various locations in the GTA. ‘Future Taste
of Toronto’ included over two hundred students grades 4-6 acting as young apprentices
for the city's best chefs as they teach the public about their knowledge of food. ‘Literary
Picnic’ a storytelling event that involved 60 local writers, each reading an excerpt of their
work, a one-on-one conversation with the public, book exchange and book signings.
Associate Project Producer (November 2006 – September 2013)
‘Haircuts by Children’ involves children between the ages of 8-12 who are trained by
professional hairstylists, and then paid to run a real hair salon, offering members of the
public free haircuts.
‘Children’s Choice Awards’ involves children between the ages of 8-12 who become
festival VIP and jury members and festival critics to their own awards ceremony.
