This letter is of recommendation is for my colleague Mr. Aimaq. Mr. Aimaq is a QC Engineer employed
by CH2MHILL’s Turkish partner, Metag Insaat Tic A.S . During the period from November 2014 to May
2015, we worked closely together on a high profile construction project at Camp Lemonnier US Naval
Base located in Djibouti, Africa. The scope of our work on this $60 million USD airfield paving and
vertical construction project included concrete parking ramps, heavy civil excavations for storm water
drainage and backfilling, asphalt work to include a runway, taxiways, and roads, three Tent Aircraft
Hangars, two Pre-Engineered Buildings, four Modular Storage Magazines, two Containerized Living
Units, one Containerized Toilet Unit, and all the mechanical, electrical, and architecture work associated
with the work mentioned above.
Mr. Aimaq was charged with monitoring all QC aspects of the project to help ensure construction was
performed according to design, specification and related code requirements. His dedication and personal
responsibility for all his projects resulted in the great satisfaction of our client, the United States Navy.
Mr. Aimaq abilities as a QC Engineer were critical in the day to day coordination and direction of the
different working groups on our project. His efforts were key in resolving the routine construction issues
associated with design conflicts, construction methods and materials specifications associated with
working in a remote and isolated environment. His collaboration was essential to keeping the project on
track and in helping guide the project on the right path under the pressures of working in a remote area.
Mr. Aimaq proved his abilities as a QC Engineer with strong organizational skills and excelled in his
duties and responsibilities.
